Long Term Travel Insurance – Is It A Good Idea?
Long term travel insurance provides coverage for single destinations for a period of 3 months to 18 months. Long term travel insurance is also called extended stay and gap year insurance for graduates that take out one year after graduation before applying for job. Long term travel insurance will protect the policy holders from medical emergencies, trip cancellations, loss of important travel documents and passport, and lawyer hiring fee.
People that travel a lot will be able to predict the accidents or calamities that may possibly occur at a strange country which includes limited medical facilities and residents that speak a language that you are not familiar with. Long term travel is the same as standard travel insurance but long term travel insurance covers a term from 3 to 18 months. This policy term is available for coverage of Europe, United States and Canada.
For example, an insurance policy holder will be covered if he travels within Canada for a Canadian long term travel insurance policy. However, if he travels to outside of Canada, he will not be covered. If you plan to tour the world, you should buy a Worldwide Excluding USA & Canada long term travel insurance so that you will be insured while traveling in the world except USA and Canada.
Before departing, you should perform a full medical checkup and go for an immunization program. You should bring multiple copies of passport, important travel documents and medical card in case you lost them.
The medical expenses in a foreign country can be very expensive if you did not initially buy insurance. Without long term travel insurance, your trip can be a very frustrating experience.
Travelers spend lots of money on health care services because they do not realize their health care plan provide little to no coverage for their medical expenses while traveling to a distant country. Without proper insurance, you can quickly become bankrupt. Long term insurance will only protect you if you take all the precautions in beforehand. With long term travel insurance, you can enjoy your trip and explore new places without having to worry about other expenses.

Hardly anyone can afford it, and no, even in that case you have to deal with onerous bureaucracy. For example, in Germany, insurance mandatory, provided you have enough money to pay for medical expenses out of pocket; but only a tiny of the population purchase insurance. If I had a few hundred thousand dollars in emergency funds, pay for medical expenses out of pocket without a problem.

Glaxo’s vaccine characterised by regulators as EU and USA biodefense stockpile drug
By birdflu666
Glaxo’s pandemic influenza vaccine is characterised by regulatory authorities as a susbtance that needs to be stockpiled in the EU’s and USA’s biodefense stockpiles.

US666 Biodefense stockpile “ Yeah! 666…!!!!
This classificiation by regulatory authorities underscores fears that the pandemic flu vaccines, which contain toxic adjuvants, are indeed actually bioweapons, designed to cause death and injury. the Glaxo vaccine is categorised as having “controlled or government distribution in the EU and USA” only. Below is the entry for the Glaxo pandemic influenza vaccine on a biopharma database. Scroll down to see the Regulatory/Status Index.

Squalene: The Swine Flu Vaccine’s Little Secret Exposed
What Squalene Does to Humans
Your immune system recognizes squalene as an oil molecule native to your body. It is found throughout your nervous system and brain. In fact, you can consume squalene in olive oil and not only will your immune system recognize it, you will also reap the benefits of its antioxidant
The difference between “good” and “bad” squalene is the route by which it enters your body. Injection is an abnormal route of entry which incites your immune system to attack all the squalene in your body, not just the vaccine adjuvant.
Your immune system will attempt to destroy the molecule wherever it finds it, including in places where it occurs naturally, and where it is vital to the health of your nervous system.[viii]
Gulf War veterans with Gulf War Syndrome (GWS) received anthrax vaccines which contained squalene.[ix] MF59 (the squalene adjuvant) was an unapproved ingredient in experimental anthrax vaccines and has since been linked to the devastating autoimmune diseases suffered by countless Gulf War vets.[x]
The of Defense made every attempt to deny that squalene was indeed an added contaminant in the anthrax vaccine administered to Persian Gulf war military personnel – deployed and non-deployed – as well as in the more recent Anthrax Vaccine Immunization Program (AVIP).
However, the FDA discovered the presence of squalene in lots of AVIP product. A test was developed to detect anti-squalene antibodies in GWS patients, and a clear link was established between the contaminated product and all the GWS sufferers who had been injected with the vaccine containing squalene.
A study conducted at Tulane Medical School and published in the February 2000 issue of Experimental Molecular Pathology included these stunning statistics:
“ … the substantial majority (95%) of ill deployed GWS patients had antibodies to squalene. All (100%) GWS patients immunized for service in Shield/Desert Storm who did not deploy, but had the same signs and symptoms as those who did deploy, had antibodies to squalene.
In contrast, none (0%) of the deployed Persian Gulf veterans not showing signs and symptoms of GWS have antibodies to squalene. Neither patients with idiopathic autoimmune disease nor healthy controls had detectable serum antibodies to squalene. The majority of symptomatic GWS patients had serum antibodies to squalene.”[xi]
According to Dr. Viera Scheibner, Ph.D., a former principle research scientist for the government of Australia:
“… this adjuvant [squalene] contributed to the cascade of reactions called “Gulf War Syndrome,” documented in the soldiers involved in the Gulf War.
The symptoms they developed included fibromyalgia, lymphadenopathy, rashes, photosensitive rashes, malar rashes, chronic fatigue, chronic headaches, abnormal body hair loss, non-healing skin lesions, aphthous ulcers, dizziness, weakness, memory loss, seizures, mood changes, neuropsychiatric problems, anti-thyroid effects, anaemia, elevated ESR (erythrocyte sedimentation rate), systemic lupus erythematosus, multiple sclerosis, ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), Raynaud’s phenomenon, Sjorgren’s syndrome, chronic diarrhoea, night sweats and low-grade fevers.”[xii]

My condolences, Sheila should not have died that way. Survivors, please understand I am trying to get something done about our healthcare. Like Bob; I too played by the rules; my insurance got yanked. Asperger's, mild disability; nobody wants anymore. I could compete when the economy was in decent shape.
A-For-Da-Ble will save our economy, it is in the best interest of everybody. If every job moved out of the country, than (tell me) whose gonna pay the medical fee?

It seems that the debate has become a health insurance debate and not a healthcare debate. Unless we get a grip on the unit cost of each visit, procedure, treatment etc; we will accomplish nothing for the long term. The insurance industry is still being blamed for the ills of healthcare.
The insurance industry operates within the confines of laws which are enforced by each state regulatory agency. The seemingly endless discussion about premiums without an equal and vociferous discussion about the cost of healthcare will yield little but a temporary respite.
because we were just a little bit messed up in the head maybe?! thought it would be a good idea… didnt work out that way lol
